Get involved in corporate giving

If your company is keen to link with Reading Quest to support our work, we would be delighted to talk to you.

We have worked with many companies since we were founded 15 years ago and we are keen to get involved with many more.

Key ideas for corporate giving

• Have staff trained as Reading Quest corporate tutors at a cost of £370 a head, plus CRB check.

• Staff to support charity by attending Reading Quest fundraising events. These may be directly held by Reading Quest or by supportive other partners.

• Staff to act as CRB-approved volunteers at pre-school Reading Quest Family Libraries.

• Staff to hold fundraising events for Reading Quest either low-key within workplace or more substantial events linking with Reading Quest.

• Staff to promote Reading Quest through their networks of family and friends. This would involve highlighting Reading Quest’s Facebook page and following Reading Quest tweets.

• Company to donate relevant books to Reading Quest library.

• Staff to donate good condition picture books with few words that they no longer need at home.

• To support staff who wish to donate regularly through providing payroll giving, whereby a donation is made to Reading Quest from an employee’s pay before tax is deducted.

• Fund matching – any money raised by staff at events/office fundraisers is matched by the company.

• Allowing Reading Quest to become part of the company’s network, i.e. inviting us to any corporate events where we can link with other potential partners.

• Providing a link to the Reading Quest website on company website.
